Fairtrade Strikes Gold

This Valentines Day, the first ever Fairtrade and Fairmined gold went on sale in jewellers in the UK and Canada. A recent article in the Guardian tells the story, and discusses in depth the labour abuse issues that go on in the gold mining industry.  It's another big step for the Fairtrade concept worldwide - let's hope we see it in Australia soon!
