Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all their hard work this year, it has been a tremendous effort by everyone. After yesterday's meeting, volunteer lunch and Sri Lanka program talk we managed to get everything cleared up and total the sales etc. The Minutes from the meeting are now in the Minutes section of the blog, so have a read if you missed the fun yesterday.
Last year our sales for November and December totalled $10,075, as at close of business yesterday we had reached $4600.We still have quite a few stalls and events coming up before Christmas, so hopefully you will get a chance to join in and work with other members at an event or at the shop.It would be wonderful if we could match the sales for last year, remembering that almost every item we sell is supporting either a Fair Trade or Indigenous community, and raising funds for Oxfam projects and campaigns. I will let you all know how we are going as the month travels along, and once again thanks for your contribution, together we have achieved a great deal this year. Thanks again, Caron
Some new stock has arrived-thanks to everyone who responded to my email request about raising the stock price over the Christmas period. We now have some Fair Trade balls for those who want to play fair!
