Heading For 100K

 

In June 2007 three people formed the Fair Trade Group Oxfam Group, using their own money for the initial purchases of Fair Trade coffee. Their hope was that the group and shop would grow, and in doing so support and promote fair trade and raise funds for Oxfam.

This reminds me of a phrase that I recently heard: "Think Big, Start Small, Act Now".

Since then many, many people have helped to grow this group from its small start, supporting its big idea of making the world a fairer place, and acting now by buying and selling fair trade items.

Thanks to all the efforts of the members and  volunteers, past and present, we soon hope to reach  product sales of 100k.  We will let you know when we reach this significant milestone!
