On May 13, the Fair Trade Collective are hosting Kohinoor Yeasmin, the CEO of Tarango, at a dinner function at the Bengal Indian Restaurant in Fremantle. Tarango operates an Entrepreneurship Development Program in Bangladesh, which focuses on empowering women through the production of Fairtrade goods. The other speakers Mahiya Norton and Antonia Marison, from Proyecto AAZI and Khmer Creations.
Tickets are $40, and the funds will go to a development project in East Timor. Tickets can be purchased by emailing wa@fairtrade.com.au, or by calling Bob Roberts on 0422556642.
